Internship at AdEx Partners

Start your career path with an internship at one of the leading consulting firms. From the fourth semester of your studies, you can dive into exciting projects with us. During your internship of at least four months, you will become an integral part of our dynamic team. Your range of tasks will vary depending on the area.

Working Student at AdEx Partners

As a working student, you will delve deeper into the consulting world. For at least 6 months and with about 20 hours per week, you will support our teams in various areas – from internal activities to direct project work with our clients. At AdEx Partners, you will be part of a team that values and promotes your skills. You work side by side with experienced consultants on our clients‘ challenges. This allows you to apply and expand your academic knowledge directly.

Thanks to the option of remote work, your activity at AdEx Partners can be ideally combined with your studies and leisure time. Regardless of your location, you are firmly integrated into our team and benefit from lively exchange and regular virtual meetings, which strengthen team spirit and collaboration.

AdEx Partners offers a variety of entry opportunities, ranging from the position of (Senior) Consultant to Associate Partner and Partner. Our requirements are specific and aim to assemble a team of highly qualified and experienced consultants to provide our clients with first-class consulting services.

For a successful application, we expect our candidates to have at least five years of professional experience, preferably with a leading international consulting firm or in a comparable position within a relevant company. This experience should include project management, coaching, and leadership skills in the IT and/or business process area. Moreover, we place great importance on budget responsibility and staff management to ensure that our team members are capable of independently managing complex projects and effectively leading teams. Direct interaction with decision-makers and executives is just as crucial for us as a strong customer orientation and project experience both domestically and abroad.

We are looking for individuals with entrepreneurial thinking, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of autonomy. The ability to work independently while also enjoying teamwork is central to us. Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, as well as a willingness to travel (depending on the project) domestically and internationally, complete our profile of requirements.

Selection process

Recruiting Interview: In an initial virtual exchange, we would like to get to know you and together find out whether AdEx Partners could be the next step for you. We will give you insights into our process and answer all your questions.

Technical Interviews: Subsequently, you will have two technical interviews with our consultants, in which we will take a closer look at your professional qualifications and your personality.

Hogan Assessment: We conduct this as a standard part of our recruiting process, and our employees additionally use it for their personal development.

Decision

Once the application process is complete, all involved interviewers consult with each other to make a joint decision. If the outcome is positive, you will receive an offer from us. To ensure that you can make a well-considered decision, we give you two weeks to calmly consider whether AdEx Partners is the right step for you. During this phase, we are happy to support you with any questions that arise and offer you the opportunity to have discussions with potential colleagues as well.

The compensation is benchmarked against other major consulting firms. It consists of both a fixed base salary and a variable component, which depends on individual performance and contribution to the company’s success. This variable component allows consultants to significantly influence their income through outstanding performance.

AdEx Partners generally expects a willingness to travel 2-3 days per week. The actual amount of travel, both domestic and international, varies depending on the requirements of the specific project and is currently significantly below the expectations mentioned above.

Each consultant makes their own decision about which project they will join. They discuss potential projects with the Staffing Lead and consult with their personal coach.

AdEx Partners offers flexible working hours, modern hardware, the option for remote work, and an extensive training program. Enjoy 30 days of vacation, various bonus programs, and different events, such as an annual kickoff event, a family event, and quarterly regulars‘ tables in the regions.
