Internship at TARGUS

Accompany our experienced consultants to our clients during your internship, where you can experience consulting at first hand. As a performance-oriented team with a strong implementation-oriented approach, we advise our clients in the area of operations along the entire value chain. Our clients are active in a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, the automotive industry, plant engineering, shipbuilding, the steel industry and electronics. Exciting projects await you in areas such as operational excellence, material cost management and product cost optimization. We will tailor your internship to your individual experience and strengths so that you can use them in one of our diverse projects. Join the Double Entry Program after your Master’s degree
After successfully completing your Master’s degree, we offer you the unique opportunity to combine your expertise in consulting and industry by joining our Double Entry Program. During this program, you will spend a year getting to know our consulting practices and working with our project teams on client projects. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for individual sub-projects and gain a wide range of insights into different industries.
At the end of your first successful year, we will place you in a suitable position with one of our clients for a further year. After completing the Double Entry Program, you will have gained first-hand experience working as a consultant at TARGUS as well as in the industry. The experience you gain internally and on client projects will provide you with additional added value for your future in consulting.
If, after a year with us, you realize that consulting is the right environment for you, you can of course stay with TARGUS during your industrial year and continue to develop your skills as a consultant.

From Zero to Two Hundred: Transitioning into Consulting After 9 Years in Industry
We look forward to receiving your application, even if your studies or industry focus is not in the scientific or technical field. Although many of our consultants have pursued careers in these fields, we always appreciate learning about new perspectives and individual backgrounds. Your unique profile could be exactly what enriches and complements our team.
You can submit your application to us all year – you can choose your preferred start date at the beginning or middle of the month.
As we provide strong support during implementation, our projects usually take between six and nine months.
Our consultants travel to our customers four days a week to work together on site.
We value a steep learning curve and regular feedback. Your individual development plan is therefore evaluated at least twice a year.
Our project teams usually consist of two to five colleagues who work together with several of the client’s larger project teams.
Every new consultant receives a mentor when they start at TARGUS. They will help you to get started, provide support with questions about day-to-day consulting and work with you to write your individual development plan.
