Biography and expertise

Christian Esser is a Partner at Altman Solon and based in the Munich offices. He joined Altman Solon in 2003 and was a founding member of the firm’s Zurich office. 

Christian is responsible for the media, online, and digital sectors. He primarily supports media companies, tech players and (digital) platforms with the development of new strategies, transformations, product definition and launches, organizational restructurings, partnership, and M&A topics. He extensively works with Private Equity clients especially on investments in tech, software, digital propositions, marketplaces/E-Commerce and tech enabled services.

Christian obtained his master degree in business administration at LMU in Munich and studied Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at the Center for Digital Technology Management (TU Munich, LMU Munich) at the University of California at Berkeley and RWTH Aachen.
