Biography and expertise

Christian Kubis has been Director of Carbon Accounting and Climate Strategy at sustainable AG since 2021. 

His focus at sustainable is on the development and implementation of climate strategies and management approaches. This includes the accounting and monitoring of emissions at company and product level on the one hand and the definition of science-based climate targets including the analysis of the necessary reduction measures on the other. A particular focus here is on measures in the upstream and downstream value chain. Christian also advises his clients on the definition of KPIs and processes for target achievement  and supports the design and implementation of workshops and trainings for managers as well as the coaching of CR departments with regard to greenhouse gas accounting, climate strategies and climate management. 

Before joining sustainable, Christian worked for a technically oriented management consultancy in the aviation industry. He graduated from the Technical University of Munich and the NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.
