Biography and expertise

Christof Wagner is Managing Partner at Horn & Company. Together with another partner colleague, he heads H&C's Insurance Competence Centre.

His expertise is based on more than 20 years of professional and consulting experience and a large number of optimisation projects in Germany and other European countries, particularly in the areas of strategic realignment, overall house optimisation, sales optimisation and growth programmes, production strategy and optimisation, performance management, cost containment and sourcing as well as platformisation. The clients he advises include insurance companies, InsurTechs, banks, savings banks, building societies and sales and service companies in the financial sector.

Christof Wagner studied business administration at the University of Mannheim, completed his training as a banker in Frankfurt am Main and gained practical professional experience in the corporate client business of a major German bank before joining an international management consultancy in 2001, where he has helped shape the development of Horn & Company since it was founded in 2009.
