Biography and expertise

Dr. Albert Hans Baur has been Director of Sustainability Strategy and Management at sustainable AG since 2021.

Albert's focus is on the development and implementation of tailor-made sustainability programs for and with companies. This includes valuechain-wide impact and risk analyses as well as benchmarking and transparent and up-to-date sustainability communication and reporting, e.g., in accordance with GRI or the EU CSRD.

In addition to the strategic implementation of sustainability in companies, Albert supports companies in establishing effective sustainability governance structures through coachings and moderates cross-departmental and cross-company stakeholder workshops.

Before joining sustainable, Albert worked at Siemens AG, Munich Re, the German Federal Foreign Office and the internationally renowned climate and energy think tank E3G, among others.

Albert holds a Bachelor's degree in "International Forest Ecosystem Management", a Master's degree in the elite study program "Global Change Ecology" and a Dr.-Ing. in sustainable urban development.
