Biography and expertise

Dr. Alexander Kuckelberg ist Gründer der VIA Consulting & Development GmbH und hat sie über Jahre als Prokurist und Geschäftsführer geleitet. Seit der Verschmelzung der Unternehmen VIA Consulting & Development GmbH, quattron management consulting GmbH, tectum-q GmbH und q4pm project management GmbH zu einer quattron GmbH, ist Dr. Kuckelberg Leiter des Geschäftsbereichs 2 „Software, IT & Digital Data Management”.

Dr. Alexander Kuckelberg studied computer science at Clausthal University of Technology in the 1990s and, after various scientific activities including ETH Zurich and Massey University New Zealand, received his PhD at the at the Institute of Transport Science at RWTH Aachen University. The academic activities are also the background and motivation for founding a spin-off company that has developed and established itself over the years as an expert in railway operational tasks.

Dr. Alexander Kuckelberg now supports customers on various issues related to railway operations, railway operations research, IT development and data, software and system architectures and is accepted as an expert for subject-specific data, processes and tasks.
