Biography and expertise

Dr. Marcel Urban is a partner at TARGUS and has been part of the team since 2009. As a civil engineer with a focus on construction, he gained his technical understanding through work in the field of component testing and structural damage simulation. Before joining TARGUS, he also worked in research consulting and led a team there.

He has more than 20 years of professional experience, which he uses to support our customers in a results-oriented optimization of products, purchasing processes, and production processes as well as in the design of concepts for organization and leadership. He brings this experience to various industries such as automotive suppliers, pharmaceuticals, and mechanical engineering.

At TARGUS, he is also responsible for Purchasing and Supply Chain, where he aids the improvement of the cooperation between Purchasing and other departments in line with the company's objectives.

As part of the "Our Mission" initiative, Marcel Urban is responsible for the internal development of employees into project managers and partners. He combines the highest quality standards in consulting with a pragmatic project approach to achieve the greatest customer benefit.
