Biography and expertise

Jörn Schmitt is responsible for the Supply Chain Management division at AdEx Partners.

In 1998 he began his career as an SAP consultant at Accenture in technology and architecture, responsible for a large number of major SAP implementations and transformations. In 2003, Jörn switched to the management of IT organizations and took on management positions in DAX companies in the logistics and medical technology sectors. Back in consulting in 2011 he developed into an enterprise architect and then focused on the SCM area. Today he is an expert in complex IT solutions in logistics with a particular enthusiasm for fulfillment.

He graduated from the University of Münster with a degree in business administration, specializing in business informatics and international management. This interaction between business and IT still fascinates Jörn today. His focus in SCM is on warehousing and distribution, which he uses in the retail, transportation, logistics, and supply sectors.
