Biography and expertise

Kai Schlattmann is partner in the Munich office of IMP since 2016.

Kai advises clients primarily from the life sciences, high-tech and mobility sectors. His work focuses on the development and implementation of future-proof strategies (open strategy), the design and development of innovative business models, the holistic support of (digital) transformation processes and the design and implementation of innovation ecosystems.

Kai began his career as a consultant at Malik Management, where he was appointed Partner in 2006. From 2012 to 2016, Kai was Senior Vice President & Authorized Officer responsible for Strategy, Corporate Development and M&A at Vetter Pharma, a leading global pharmaceutical service provider.

Kai studied business administration at the UOP/USA and the LMU Munich and expanded his education through system-oriented and strategic management programs (St. Gallen and INSEAD).
