Biography and expertise

Prof. Dr. Ziad Mahayni has been a partner at 3con Management Consultants since 2009 and, in 2023, also took on the role of Professor for Applied Ethics at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. This position includes leading the Department of Technology and Science Ethics, a key institution for all State Universities of Applied Sciences in Baden-Württemberg.

After earning a dual degree in chemistry and philosophy from TU Darmstadt, Université de Bordeaux, and Harvard University, and subsequently completing a doctorate in philosophy, Prof. Dr. Mahayni ventured into the business sector. He worked in strategic marketing and business development at a leading chemical-pharmaceutical company.

Since joining 3con in 2004, his consulting work has been concentrated on assisting companies with their digital transformation and in cultivating innovation-promoting environments. Leveraging his experience as a mentor to innovative startups, he implements their agile and customer-focused methodologies in larger corporations and various organizations.
