Biography and expertise

Todor Dobrikov is a partner at d-fine, leading the firm's Applied AI division since 2018. Having joined in 2007, his career took root in risk management, where he significantly contributed to the field by implementing innovative, data-driven methods for numerous European financial institutions. Being among the early adopters of AI techniques, his focus gradually shifted towards the emerging field of artificial intelligence, addressing various client segments and use cases.

In his current role, Todor Dobrikov and his team deliver tailored AI and data science solutions to a broad client portfolio, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, manufacturers, retailers, and firms within healthcare and pharmaceuticals. The focus of his projects lies on the successful integration of sophisticated AI techniques into business practices, enhancing data analytics capabilities, and the development of cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

Todor Dobrikov holds a Diploma in Mathematics with Computer Science from TU Darmstadt and an MSc in Mathematical Finance from Oxford University.
