Highlights waren auch die Consultant Days, bei denen man sich mit allen KollegInnen von H&C sowohl fachlich als auch über alle anderen Themen austauschen konnte.“

My path to H&C

During my gap year, I wanted to develop not only professionally but also personally. In my search for interesting internship opportunities in Financial Services Consulting, I quickly came across Horn & Company.

Just a few days after my application, I received an invitation to an interview and the rest of the process went very quickly. Even here I was able to have pleasant conversations and after getting to know each other in the interview I was convinced to do my internship at H&C.

My job at H&C

I particularly liked the fact that I was integrated as a fully-fledged team member from day one. This not only allowed me to learn an incredible amount in terms of content, but also to hone my soft skills such as communication and organization. The Consultant Days were also highlights, where you could exchange ideas with all H&C colleagues, both professionally and on all other topics. I had just as much fun working on projects with the team in Düsseldorf, being right at the heart of the action enabled me to follow the progress of the project closely - and I also had a lot of fun with my colleagues during our time together in the office or at team lunches.

What I particularly like about the internship

During my internship, I was able to support a project for a nationwide banking group in Germany, in which we focused in particular on optimizing business processes and omnichannel enablement. I was able to provide support in all areas, take on smaller work packages independently and present these to the customer together with my team. Together with the team, we often met at the Düsseldorf location, and at my preferred location in Frankfurt I was free to choose between the beautiful old building office or the home office.

Why I recommend an internship at H&C

Thanks to the friendly atmosphere among colleagues and the high level of expertise and professionalism, you can learn a lot as an intern during this time.If you are interested in working on a wide range of tasks and problems in a supportive environment and taking on responsibility, I can only recommend an internship at H&C.
