Julia Bumiller studied online communication in her Bachelor's degree programme and media management in her Master's degree programme. Alongside her studies, she was already able to gain some practical experience, which focussed on marketing (strategic (online) marketing and CRM). After completing her Master's degree, she had a strong desire to start her career in consulting. Julia Bumiller has been working with us since the beginning of 2022.

How was your first week at Iskander Business Partner?
I had a few reservations at the beginning, as I had no experience in counselling. I was worried that it would all be a bit much at the beginning: Identifying with the consultancy and the environment, the new project, a new industry and new tasks. But my worries were immediately allayed. Two weeks before I started, I had the opportunity to get to know my project manager at Iskander Business Partner. Together we checked whether the upcoming project would suit me and whether I would feel comfortable with it. In the first two weeks after I started, I spoke to my manager and my buddy every day. They both often asked me: ‘What do you need? What can we do for you? How are you doing?’ I thought that was great. Every one of my colleagues also took the time to give me the feeling: Get in touch if you want to know anything, we'll be happy to help you!
How would you describe the teamwork at Iskander Business Partner?
Familiar and trusting. If I have any questions, I can turn to anyone in the team and they always help me. I can express my wishes, or if I had a specific wish in the past, it was made possible. If I have expressed an interest in certain learning content, I have been able to discuss directly with my manager how we can put my wish into practice. I think that's very important. What's more, you walk into the office and you're immediately in a good mood, everyone is happy and chatting to you. It's just a great feeling to be an Iskander Business Partner.
