Matthias completed his Bachelor's degree in Economics in Freiburg and his Master's degree in International Business Administration in Vienna. He used the Master's in Vienna for a semester abroad at the University of Queensland (Brisbane). In 2022, he started at quattron management consulting as a Junior Consultant and made the leap to Consultant in well under 24 months.

My path to quattron quattron
I became aware of quattron through my own research into suitable management consultancies and immediately recognized the corporate culture. That was the deciding factor for me. An open, committed and pragmatic culture as well as the right development potential and a professional focus with prospects. So I applied as a Junior Consultant for the "Technology & Operational Consulting" division and was offered a suitable contract.
Tasks and challenges
My area of responsibility is extremely varied and highly project-dependent. Above all, the diversity brings with it the challenge of constantly engaging with new and different technical content, as well as constantly adapting to new projects. Especially at the beginning, I had to get to know the infrastructure-related "technical language" and deal with what felt like endless abbreviations. The exchange with senior and young colleagues is an absolute advantage. Especially when you start working on projects quite early on after a short onboarding phase.

There are virtually no limits to the training and development opportunities and you can set your own priorities depending on your interests and in consultation with your line manager. What I would advise others to do
At the time, I thought very carefully about what I wanted and which areas I was interested in. I can only advise everyone to do some soul-searching in order to know exactly what they want.
