Victoria Domig obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), and a Master's degree in International Marketing and Management from the Copenhagen Business School (CBS). With two years of experience in the consulting industry, she began her career at an internationally operating management consultancy in Copenhagen, where she focused on sustainable solutions. Since then, she has shifted her focus to the energy sector working as an analyst at TAH in Vienna since October 2023.

Interest in Sustainable Solutions
Sustainable solutions are an essential part of today's society. Faced with global challenges such as climate change and pollution, more and more people are seeking ways to live and work in an environmentally friendly manner. My interest in these issues was first awakened during elective courses I took during my semester abroad in Gothenburg, Sweden, and further deepened when I began my master's studies in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Business case analyses on circular economy, implementation of renewable energy in companies, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) led me to engage as student assistant at a Danish consulting firm specializing in sustainable solutions.
These theoretical and practical experiences that I was able to gather in Scandinavian countries have shaped my understanding of a variety of practices, including innovation, social responsibility, transparency, and collaboration.
Career Entry as a Consultant in the Energy Sector
After completing my master's degree, I returned to Vienna with the intention of pursuing these interests and entering the world of employment. My focus was on integrating my studies in business administration, with a focus on international management and strategy, and my dedication to shaping economic activities in a way that is environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable.
Entering the consulting industry in the energy sector presented an exciting opportunity for me to work closely with companies to understand their individual challenges, develop tailor-made solutions, and influence the shaping of a sustainable future.
A Straightforward and Instructive Start at TAH
My initial period as an analyst, shortly after my studies, was challenging yet extremely instructive and enjoyable. I was always supported by my colleagues and viewed as a valuable member of the team, which greatly aided my quick integration and the development of confidence in my abilities. Their helpfulness and recognition significantly facilitated my entry at TAH and continue to influence my work.
In addition to the principle of mutual assistance, two other aspects were particularly important to me: a structured onboarding plan, which provided me with a comprehensive overview of the company, various introductions, and insight into the culture at TAH within the first two weeks; and the support of my counselor as the primary point of contact for my questions and concerns.
Rituals and Communication as Essential Components at TAH
I quickly realized that at TAH, shared rituals are highly valued, contributing to the establishment of a strong team bond. Our weekly office day provides us with the opportunity to meet in person and maintain direct communication. Additionally, shared lunches and our weekly meetings ensure that we are always informed about the current status of our colleagues and can support each other.
Furthermore, communication among us at TAH is of great importance. We openly share our ideas, challenges, and successes with each other. This accessible and trusting atmosphere not only promotes collaboration but also enhances the exchange of expertise.
Overall, I am extremely glad to be part of the team at TAH. The opportunity to pursue my passion for sustainable business practices in the consulting industry of the energy sector is not only exciting but also fills me with a sense of purpose and contribution to society. The shared rituals, open communication, and exchange of expertise within the team create an atmosphere in which I feel comfortable and valued. I am grateful for the diverse experiences I have had so far at TAH and look forward to continuing to make a positive contribution to the company's work and culture.
