My Journey in Business and Consulting was born in the heart of Barcelona, in a family of artists and scientists, which imbued me with a love for both the analytical and the creative. As I navigated my education, I initially followed the scientific path, immersing myself in the intricacies of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Then stepping into the world of business felt like opening a treasure chest. I discovered how thrilling it is to connect with people, understanding their motivations and stories. That led me straight into the promise of global exploration of International Business and Economics at Pompeu Fabra University.
My first steps into the professional world were in event management within the sports sector. As a former dinghy sailor and sailing coach, it felt like the natural path. The adrenaline of orchestrating events, the thrill of teamwork—it was my arena. But following curiosity, I peeked into e-commerce and website development, where I discovered the delicate balance between aesthetics and functionality.
Two years passed, and I hungered for more. Attending a women's leadership event organized by a major consulting firm inspired me to pursue a career in the field. China became my first play-field, with fast-paced challenges, intriguing culture and the unfamiliar sounds of a new language. There I delved into new industries, building bridges with clients and colleagues alike. And then, Germany called. New industries, fresh projects and cutting-edge topics of innovation and digitalization. In a pursuit of meeting practice with theory, I pursued a master in Strategic Innovation Management in the University of Groningen. It was exciting to be able to challenge words on paper with real life examples.
What defines success? For me, it’s not just about strategies on paper. It’s about implementation—the effect that transforms companies and touches lives. At the core, co-creation with clients and trust as our compass. Consulting, at its core for me, is a people’s business.
So, here I stand. From Barcelona’s sun-kissed streets to the bustling markets of Shanghai, from e-commerce platforms to boardroom discussions, my journey continues, delivering successful stories and growing with clients.
